| We did it!! Our guys team won our league championship last night! The game started pretty tight and was tied at the end of the first quarter. We switched our defense, got our offense going, went up by 10 points and never looked back. They played really well even though our shooting was a little off. Congrats to Cortland on your championship again. I hear there's a potential state championship. Unfortunately I don't think we can go, which is a bummer. It would have been pretty cool if we faced Cortland in a game. I hope everyone there is doing well. Things here have been very hectic. Basketball was fun, but I'm glad it's done, I'm exhausted! Mrs. B and Johanna are doing great! I'll try to get some more pics up soon. I haven't heard from some of you in awhile, let me know how you're doing. | | |
| Here I am in Indiana at a Conference. I'm using my "new to me" lap top for the first time. It's not the greatest piece of equipment, but so far it works and it was free so I can't complain. It doesn't matter where I go these days, winter storms seem to find me. We're expecting around a foot of snow out here tomorrow and people here are shutting everything down in panic. It should be interesting. I can't wait til' Spring. I'm off to bed now. Later. | | |
| Greetings from the random blogger. We're somewhat snowed in out here which has canceled everything around us, so for the first day in I don't know how long, I have a FREE DAY!! I almost froze to death snowblowing my driveway this morning, but at least I came away with a chance to be famous. Some lady stopped in front of my house, came up to me and said she was from the paper and wanted to take my picture snowblowing. It would be unkind to say no, yet my snowblowing outfit is, well, less than flattering let's say. I'm sure I will receive endless criticism from my friends out here, but I did my part for the community. My life has been busier than I can ever remember. As I grow into my position out here I'm finding my workload increasing. On top of that I took on coaching the boys basketball team out here. It takes a ton of time, but it has been fun and I enjoy working with the guys. It's helped me get to know them better. We're doing pretty well too. We're 7-1 in our league and 10-2 overall. We only have 1 returning starter from last years team that won the championship, so it's been challenging getting everyone to work together, but they're doing well. The team to beat in our league comes to our gym tomorrow night. They're our only league loss. We had a lead on them last game but fell apart and lost by alot. They're decent ball players, mostly from inner city Buffalo. Our practice is cancelled today due to the snow, so it's gonna be tough to be ready for them tomorrow. I'll try to let you know how our season ends up. Things at home are good. Mrs. B is doing well, she's directing the school choir. We'll be headed to BBC in March for the choirfest. Is Cortland going this year? It would be great to see you there. Johanna is getting really big! She's alot of fun to play with and is a really good baby. Of course she has her moments, but who's perfect right? Well, that's all for now, I hope everyone is doing well, I do try and keep up with you by reading your blogs and comment when I can. Take care and see you soon.

| Merry Christmas Everyone!! Once again it's been forever since I updated, but hey, why change now? I hope everyone is having a great Christmas and that life is well. Of course nothings ever perfect, but we make the best of it don't we? Life in the metropolis of Arcade NY is going ok. Mrs. B and the baby are doing great. Johanna is smiling and "talking" (i.e. cute jabbering) and she's even laughed once or twice. She's so funny and so much fun. We're heading to my parents today for Christmas. We come back tomorrow to be ready for our services on Sunday. Monday all of Missy's family will head to Cortland for a Christmas with Kenton's family. I wish I could see all of you while I'm there, but looks like it's gonna be a quick trip. Then on Tuesday Missy's immediate family will have Christmas here. Busy and crazy as always! Life this week was kinda rough. My dad had surgery on Monday for a heart rhythm problem. He's doing ok now, but the surgery didn't fix the problem so he went through all that for nothing and is pretty discouraged. Then on Wednesday my transmission went on the van. That's pretty pricey to fix ,but God is good and faithful and will provide. Our church family is helping us out too. Well, that's it for now. Hopefully we'll see you all sometime soon. Have a great Christmas!
